FIDE uses the best quality crops collected from the fertile soil of Turkey and turns them into a wide range of delicious foods. With its turnover of 25,000,000 USD, it is not only a business entity serving the demands of its customers, but also a social foundation turning its farmers’ works into an economic success.
FIDE’s production chain employs more than 1000 farmers and 350 seasonal workers with over 100 staff having worked with us for over 20 years. To ensure the satisfaction of FIDE’s customers we are ever conscious of Environmental issues from seeding to packing.
Development studies are an important part in FIDE’s success. The quality of the raw material is under the control of our R&D department, during all stages starting from seeding to maturing. The production processes are executed according to the relevant parts of our ISO 9002 policy that has been in place since 1997, as well as CMI (TLC) and HACCP.
Whilst complying with these certification procedures, FIDE takes its strength primarily from being customer and market oriented. We steadfastly watch market trends and combine all knowledge gleaned together with customer feedback. This helps both with shaping our ideas of how to serve our customers best and also with future business decisions. Pricing is most important & we have seen that cost analysis should be followed with market analysis in order to reach a competitive global market level.
With on going experience over the years, FIDE has specialised in Tomato products (Paste, Puree, Pizza Sauce, Ketchup, Diced, Peeled, Crushed and sun Dried tomatoes in oil or vacuum packed.). We also produce Fruit segments in Syrup or Juice (Grapefruit, Orange Citrus, Strawberries, Cherries, Sour Cherries, Plums & Grapes), Pepper products (Paste, Roasted Red peppers & Pepper Strips). In addition we have a range of canned vegetables (Okra, Green Beans, Peas, Mixed Vegetables, Gherkins, Pickles (Hot & Mild) Mixed Pickles plus Vine Leaves in Brine. We also produce a range of ready meals including Stuffed Peppers, & Eggplants, Vine Leaves, Fried Eggplant slices, Imam Bayildi & Boiled Pulses.
Our production plant is located in the SUSURLUK district in the south MARMARA region, which is the most productive agricultural area & where the best quality tomatoes & vegetables are grown. Our plant covers a total area of 180,000 sq. Metres including 45,000 Sq. metres of indoor production units. We produce about 150,000 tonnes of Tomatoes, 20,000 tonnes of Vegetables and 15,000 tonnes of Fruit. The plant consists of world famous MANZINI, ANGELUS, COMACO, ING & ROSSI lines.
FIDE exports over 80% of its products to all parts of the world including the large UK chains such as TESCO, SAFEWAY, SOMERFIELD and the CO-OP.
